questions.

Q: Do you choose the location of the session for us?
I am an on location photographer- meaning we can go wherever you'd like! While it is fun to pick a meaningful location, if you don't know exactly where you'd like to go I am happy to make suggestions!

Q: What should I wear to my lifestyle portrait session?
Wear what you feel the most comfortable in! Typically long sleeves and layers photograph the best- and give you more versatile looks!

Q: What colors photograph best?
Darker and bright colors tend to photograph best. Have a favorite that isn't dark or bright? Don't worry we can make it work :)

Q: When is the best time to book a session?
The best time to book a session is...now! I book on a rolling basis, meaning the sooner you call the sooner you can be booked!

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of my session?
When it comes to weather, it sometimes can be pretty unpredictable! Because of this, I'm happy to reschedule sessions at the earliest convenience to us both.

Q: How long will it take to see a preview of my pictures? To get my CD?
A blog post preview of 5-10 of my favorite photos will be posted within one week of your session. I will notify you via email when this is posted. Your CD and print release will be available for pickup within 3-4 weeks of your shoot.

Q: Can I bring clothing changes?
Yes! Feel free to bring another outfit to change into. Typically there is time for 1-2 clothing changes!

Q: What about acne on the day of my session?
Don't sweat it! Blemish can easily be taken out during editing.

Q: How do you light your photos?
I really really love natural light! I joke that my business is completely solar powered- which isn't far from the truth!

Q: What is your post session work flow?
After a session, the first step is uploading all the photos from your shoot. I will flag my most favorites and edit those right away for your blog post feature. Afterwards, I edit and retouch the remaining photos. The editing process can take up to 2 weeks- when that's done we can arrange to meet for CD pickup!
